Position: Commercial/Residential Builder Sales Associate
Position Type: Permanent
Location: Randolph, NJ (on-site with territory coverage)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with additional hours as needed
We are seeking an experienced Commercial/Multifamily Residential Builder Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of proven sales experience, excellent communication skills and a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships. You will play a vital role in understanding client needs, offering tailored solutions, and contributing to the growth and success of the business. Competitive base salary with performance-based commission structure.
What you will be doing:

• Establish and nurture positive relationships with both commercial and residential clients.
• Actively listen to clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.
• Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and how they meet client requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide relevant information to clients.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations to uncover their pain points and objectives.
• Provide consultative solutions that align with clients' goals and deliver value.
• Collaborate with clients to gather project details and specifications.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and quotes, including pricing and timelines.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Facilitate clear communication between clients and project teams.
• Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain organized records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Actively seek new business opportunities through networking events and industry connections.
• Identify potential clients and projects within the designated market.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions that are favorable for both the client and the company.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• High school diploma, some college education preferred.
• 2-5 years of successful sales experience in a commercial, construction, or residential context.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Results-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
