What your job will be like:
Are you looking for an opportunity to join an organization where you experience matters? Consider joining Jefferson Laboratory (JLab) where you will perform administrative support to the Electron-Ion Collider Project (EIC). Working as part of the EIC JLab Administrative Team to setup and schedule meetings and reviews; complete business travel requests and expense reports; and compose correspondence.
In this role you will:
Arrange events, appointments and travel
Manage phone calls and correspondence (including email, memos, letters, faxes and forms)
Attend meetings and take detailed minutes
Participate in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Meet and support visitors
Monitor office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
Prepare and submit expense reports
Collaborate with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
Qualifications we require:
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
2 years relevant experience in an Administrative Assistant role in an In-person and Virtual setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills with close attention to details
Ability to organize daily assigned task utilizing tools, like MS Excel and Microsoft Office products
Good practical experience with MS Office 365 products including MS Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Demonstrated experience with office management systems procedures, and office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
Strong time management and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize work
