ABOUT THE JOB

Design, test, implement, maintain, and recommend improvements to the District ERP/Human Resources Information System. Develop and coordinate knowledge share of HCM technical solutions with core business owners. Problem solve application issues to determine and recommend modifications or changes. Provide timely and attentive business and end-user support to COE's across the HR department such as Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Benefits. Support effective and efficient processes through configuration, report-writing, troubleshooting, and workflow maintenance.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT

The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $54.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and collaborate with HR teams and technical resources on the configuration of business processes, design, setup, and procedures within the HCM modules.

Plan, implement and configure application enhancements and project tasks.

Provide feedback to technical staff on testing results; document test scripts and execute testing and training for upgrades, tax updates, patch fixes, and system implementation projects.

Design processes and rules through application setup and configuration tables. Maintain and update various business processes required for support of District benefit plans, payroll earnings types/programs, payroll deductions, time and labor, and HCM foundation.

Provide subject matter expertise for design, configuration, upgrade, and implementation of HR goals and objectives. Assist in identifying organizational needs and requirements and the creation of functional design documents.

Problem-solve ERP/HRIS issues and provide user support. Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver recommendations and solutions.

Develop and coordinate information to be used in the training of HCM users and core department users (Payroll, Benefits, and Human Resources). Assist trainers with subject matter content for training of school/department users.

Collaborate with technical staff, providing feedback and subject matter specifications and requirements for the design of processes and reports for schools, departments, administrators, School Board, associations (JCEA, JESPA, JCAA), Colorado Department of Education (CDE), Equal Employment (EEO), Benefits vendors, IRS, PERA, and the public.

Analyze data for accuracy and comparisons and for the support of any re-configuration or design of processes.

Act as a liaison between end-users, functional teams and IT on areas such as security, permissions, approvals, training, and system integrations.

Consult with business partners on needs and provide recommendations based on best practices.

EXPERIENCE

5 years experience supporting Human Resources functions in an ERP system (Talent Acquisition and Recruiting, Time & Labor, Position Management, Absence Management and Leave Tracking, Payroll, Compensation, Salary and Benefit structures, and Workflow approvals) with at least 3 years as a business/configuration/system analyst (implementation, maintenance, configuration support).

Experience supporting enterprise-wide ERP platforms, preferably large SaaS applications such as Workday, Oracle or SAP.

PeopleSoft experience, preferred.

Experience with SQL and writing ad-hoc and custom queries, preferred.

Experience working within an IT department within a K-12 district, preferred

EDUCATION AND TRAINING Degree in business, Human Resources analysis, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience. Training in Human Resources Management Systems preferred.

SPAN OF CONTROL This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position serves as a technical subject matter expert to District personnel by designing, coordinating, implementing, testing, and providing user knowledge support for the District HCM ERP system.
