JDC is Hiring a Regional Sales Representative Near Twinsburg, OH

Compensation Expectations $120,000/yr (Salary Commissions)

No Cap on Commissions

Position Objective:

This role will be responsible for generating sales for JDC product lines, including rentals, service, and parts as well as growing sales with new and existing customers. This position will have a main focus on driving business development and fostering customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and visit with new and existing customers to review account status, product needs, and determine other opportunities

• Development of opportunities with new customers with marketing research / cold calls.

• Promote parts/product quotes as required

• Identify contractor end user activity to enhance business development efforts

• Generate business development opportunities to include PacMac, Electric Utility, Roll Off, and other business lines as directed by management

• Continuously update customers on parts/product changes and modifications

• Promote service, maintenance, and rebuild capabilities

• Provide solutions to customers’ problems

• Attend local trade shows and conferences as directed

• Participate in parts/product introduction and demonstrations as required

• Maintain a complete knowledge of, and promote, parts suppliers and product line(s)

• Actively pursue and drive new parts, service, and rental revenue in the assigned geographic market

• Act as a liaison between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing, and new product release launches

• Maintain up-to-date accounts for customers, including contact names for future sales in CRM

• Utilize CRM to report on market opportunities and activity

• Maintain awareness of current, services, procedures, and tools by attending training and departmental meetings

• Provide information from the field as it relates to competitive product pricing and trends

• Meet and/or exceed key performance responsibilities to ensure profitability and future growth

• Assist in identifying and selling obsolete/overstock inventory

• Forecast product sales

• Follow all company policies and procedures, and adhere to strict approval process for all financial decisions

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience working in a heavy equipment or truck dealership environment

• Proven track record of success with selling to commercial entities

• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and motivate

• Experience in a high-performance work environment, with the ability to achieve goals while maintaining respect for all team members, JDC employees, customers, etc.

• Proven track record of customer focus

• Ability to resolve conflicts, solve problems, and exercise good judgment

The individual in this position will interact regularly with employees and managers in other departments and locations at Jack Doheny Company. Receiving and reacting to directions other than from your immediate supervisor will be required periodically.
