Responsibilities:
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
- Understand the customer's needs and creat confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing
- Develop key referral sources and build a network
- Create accurate and complete sales proposals that can be easily transferred to the installation team
-Promote the company, products, and accessories wherever possible
-Ensure all scheduled work is performed to the customer's satisfaction and resolve any issues
Requirements:
- Must have extensive experience and product knowledge relating to the installation, service, and repair of commercial dock and door opening systems
- Must be able to manage and appropriately prioritize several tasks and objectives concurrently
- Must be able to handle confrontational or problematic situations with tact, sensitivity, and a calm demeanor
- Must have mechanical aptitude and experience in door opening systems which allow for the achievement of the assigned business goals
- Proven record of accomplishment in sales
-Financial acumen including the ability to determine if a job is profitable
- IT competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation and public speaking skills
- Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines
