JC Utilities is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Selma, TX

Office/Permit Assistant

Duties:

- Submit permits and inspections for projects.

- Perform general office tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and

managing correspondence.

- Organize and maintain physical and digital files.

- Provide administrative support to staff members.

- Prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time; anticipate and track critical dates, follow

through on issues in an accurate and timely manner to meet deadlines.

- Maintain breakroom.

- Periodically pick up breakroom supplies at Sam’s.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. In office position, located in Selma, Texas.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- High-level computer proficiency (ie: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, etc.)

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Committed to being a reliable team member demonstrated by being at work consistently and on time.

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Good work ethic, honest, dependable, humble and a self-starter who requires little oversight to succeed.

- Can-do approach to work.

Preferred:

- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred.

- Familiarity with construction processes and procedures is preferred.
