Job Details
Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 8 months
Job Description:
- Create and maintain a complete technical documentation library that will serve as reference for the team but will also be used in the future as our team's official training program for new Engineers.
- Configure and install software, servers, routers, Firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and integrity.
- Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and on prem infrastructure.
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Maintain and support our Network infrastructure (AWS/Azure, VPNs, security groups, Palo Alto FWs, F5 ASM, Aruba wireless.)
- Automation Terraform and/or Ansible experience is desirable.
- SolarWinds monitoring and other features such as NCM and SNOW integrations.
- Support other teams and IT areas at the bank with their initiatives and projects.
