Jan-Pro Cleaning Systems of South Carolina / Georgia Coast is looking to hire an Operations Manager to join the team. This position is located in our office in Charleston, S.C. We are looking for a goal oriented, self starter to help lead our Company to the next level.

POSITION SCOPE: Operating within the guidelines of normal Policies and Procedures, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing accounts. The Operations Manager inspects accounts, engages in proactive visits of accounts, secures ratings of franchisee staff, coordinates site visits and new account orientation, resolves customer complaints, develops franchise owners and maintains the network of franchise owners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Understands and comprehends the attributes behind the Jan-Pro brand
• Represents the Jan-Pro brand with vigor and enthusiasm
• Inspects accounts at the rate of once per month on accounts valued at more than $750 and once per quarter on accounts value at less than $500.
• Accompanies Franchise Owner in ‘proactive’ site visits in order to secure ratings
• Calls new accounts within 24 hours of receiving notice of new customer
• Meets with new contacts to establish relationship
• Performs initial assessment via ‘walk-through’ of new potential Franchise Owners
• Provides ‘on-site’ training for new Franchise Owners and complete new Franchise Owner paperwork
• Identifies Special Service work opportunities for Franchise Owners
• Monitors Franchise Owners to ensure proper documentation for Special Service work
• Resolves customer complaints as necessary
• Assists the others in the Operations Department in preparation and delivery of the Initial Franchise training

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:

• High school diploma required, undergraduate degree in related discipline a plus
• Minimum of 3 years in management level experience in related industry is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams of people in an organized structure
• Track record of success in management of teams in competitive environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet operations
• Strong presentation skills
• Professional demeanor
• Excellent interpersonal skills
