JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Position Scope:This position’s primary responsibility is to perform telemarketing-related tasks under the direct supervision of the Office Manager and direction from the Sales Executive. The Inside Sales Representative makes calls to inform potential clients about the service and to set and pre-qualify sales appointments. Our client list includes a variety of customer businesses including banks, car dealerships, churches, department stores, hotels, medical facilities, office buildings, production facilities, tech companies, the food industry, non-profit organizations, and schools, among others. This position’s primary responsibility is to meet/exceed individual/company account sales objectives.
This role reports directly to the company's General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicits and qualifies sales appointments.
  • Maintains current and accurate daily records of prospect contact for solicitation and follow-up.
  • Conducts telephone solicitations as directed by the Office Manager or Sales Executive.
  • Collaborates with Sales Executive to achieve weekly appointment targets using lead sources and company database Self-generate appointments via marketing initiatives, community new-business listings, direct mail, and email campaigns.
  • Research emerging industry prospects.
  • Manage schedule of calls in company database of past prospects and former customers.
  • Participate and build Teamwork and Success.
  • Meet/exceed standards of professionalism and appointment to sales objectives.
Education & Experience:
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in sales or telemarketing required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Skill Set:
  • Clear, present, professional, and friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in the use of the Internet.
  • Ability to take detailed and accurate notes and messages and document prospect and client information in electronic database Relationship building.
  • Problem-solving.
  • Excellent organization & time management.
  • Motivation to familiarize me with new products in the industry.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to function in high-pressure situations.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer.
  • Clear, easy-to-understand oral communication ability.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods.

Compensation: Full-time $19 per hour
Jan-Pro Sacramento offers a rewarding compensation plan, including very competitive pay, 5% commission on all contract starts, medical available, and holidays/vacations.
