With a focus on water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, attic, crawl spaces, and reconstruction, we have been serving the San Diego community with excellence for years. Now, we're looking to expand our family and welcome skilled technicians to join our team.

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee our Reconstruction Services department. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing all aspects of reconstruction projects, from sales and estimation to operations, finance, hiring, HR, and safety. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality service, building strong client relationships, and leading teams to success, we want to hear from you.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for material upgrades, additional work, and remodels.
  • Provide transparent and accurate cost estimates for Change Order services, collaborating closely with the Estimator.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction through effective communication and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to address client needs effectively.

Estimation Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of every estimate, including measurements, quantities, quality, and type of materials.
  • Monitor price allowances against actual costs, identifying any shortfalls.
  • Communicate required revisions to the Estimator promptly.
  • Track the completion and submission of supplements to maintain accurate estimation records.

Operations Responsibilities:

  • Schedule job walks with homeowners and subcontractors to discuss repair processes and project schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule technicians and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of job requirements and budgets.
  • Monitor jobs for safety, quality, and completeness, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Oversee equipment and material inventory, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding job progress and updates.

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Request and track progress payments, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
  • Monitor customer payments and subcontractor invoices, pursuing collections if necessary.
  • Review and reconcile project costs and expenses, adjusting as necessary to ensure financial integrity.

Hiring Responsibilities (Including Subcontractors):

  • Lead the recruitment process for field technicians and subcontractors.
  • Conduct evaluations of subcontractor qualifications and negotiate terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate with management to finalize agreements and contracts.

HR Responsibilities:

  • Train newly hired technicians on procedures and company standards.
  • Address personnel issues or conflicts promptly and maintain administrative paperwork.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Participate in safety meetings and trainings to stay updated on protocols and regulations.
  • Ensure job site safety standards are followed rigorously and take corrective action as needed.
