J2T Financial Recruiting has partnered with a well-known firm seeking an Accounts Payable Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for accounts payable duties, including overseeing all aspects of accounts payable, such as managing invoice processing, vendor disbursements, and reconciling vendor accounts across various entities. Additionally, the role involves handling the processing, reviewing, and posting of invoices and ensuring accurate coding and identification of prepaid vendor advances and assets in compliance with GAAP. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain AP systems, policies, and procedures.
• Provide support to other departments for payable needs and ad-hoc requests.
• Set up new vendors and manage payment processing.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and oversee vendor account reconciliation.
• Ensure timely filing of 1099s and assist with month-end close tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or accounting
• 5 years AP experience, 2 years in management
• Strong GAAP knowledge, including inventory transactions
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Vendor management experience
