J.L. Nick & Associates is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Erie, PA

Plant Office Administrator
Our client, Hero BX, currently has a need for Plant Office Administrator to perform administrative and office support activities for the Plant Management as well as maintaining daily communication and necessary documentation with Shipping and Receiving.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Answer incoming calls from outside lines as well as visitors and guests at the front gate.
  2. Process inbound and outbound packages as well as all supporting documents.
  3. Communicate with the front office to track new purchase order requests, ensure delivery of the complete order was received and review invoices.
  4. Manage paperwork and data entry for work orders and spare parts inventory.
  5. Assist with plant raw material inventory as needed.
  6. File daily logs and supporting paperwork.
  7. Order supplies for the Plant as necessary.
  8. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
  9. Prepare employee expense reports (work boots, safety glasses, etc).
  10. Drive a company vehicle to various locations to pick up/ drop off parts and paperwork as needed.
  11. Assist Plant Management with the coordination of employee vacations.
  12. Maintain Certificates of Insurance for all contractors working onsite.
  13. Serve as a Notary Public as needed.
Requirements: 
  • Education – High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Experience – 6 years of work experience in administrative support preferred.

  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Computer Software – Knowledge of computer software and applications.
