This is an excellent in-house opportunity to be part of a successful real estate company located in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, with a footprint in the Southwest. Cases typically consist of personal injury, business, and habitability matters. The business cases are 50/50 plaintiff/defense.

Responsibilities
Engage in pre-litigation dispute resolution efforts.
Draft pleadings, write motion, take depositions and other related documents.
Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes.
Conduct legal research and analysis to develop appropriate strategies for cases.
Assist with supervising and mentoring other in-house attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants.
Requirements
3-10 years of legal experience with an insurance defense or eviction prosecution background
Member in good standing of the California Bar.
Combination of law firm and in-house experience a plus.
Computer literacy with a Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
