Job Summary

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities within the assigned regional office. This position ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of personnel, equipment, and technical services to drive optimal performance within the Region. The successful candidate must become licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board upon hire and must maintain licensure during employment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage policy deployment in areas of safety, process improvement, customer satisfaction, employee relations, training, and regional performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and practices.
  • Identify, communicate, and drive process improvement projects.
  • Manage budget and control expenses effectively. Develop, monitor, and report on operational costs.
  • Direct and monitor team performance goals and regional plans.
  • Advise team members on issues involving safety, security, performance, scheduling, and training. Ensure adherence to company policies and administer practices in fair and equitable manner.
  • Keep up to date on information and technology to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and directional leadership as assigned and required.

Education

A.A.S or B.S. in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Intermediate/advanced computer skills.
  • 5 years’ management experience in the Gaming industry or technical role preferred.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven track record in leadership and strong team building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and deliver results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct reports.

Work Environment

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is low.

Physical Demands

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.

Travel

Travel within the region is minimal for this position.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must be able to pass Illinois Gaming Board and Illinois Department of Professional Regulations requirements which includes fingerprinting.
