Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee finance and accounting for JDP and its two sister companies. The position reports to the CFO and manages a staff of 4 in a hybrid work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and reporting process for JDP and its two sister companies.
• Supervise staff in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounting, and collections.
• Oversee all treasury functions, including billing and collections, with a view towards optimizing cash flows.
• Partner with CFO to automate manual processes in the department.
• Implement and manage effective cost control measures.
• Monitor and report performance against budget.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain best terms.
• Coordinate and work effectively with other departments including sales, operations, client experience, and human resources.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and bank treasury.
• Assist CFO with special projects as they arise.
