Harbor Engineering, Inc. is a Civil Engineering/Landscape Architecture firm that is currently seeking a Part-Time Controller to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will be organized, ambitious and self-motivated. Candidates that apply should have strong finance and accounting skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritize work, complete assignments timely and maintain a professional manner.

• Strong written, verbal, reporting, and organization skills.

• Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe, and Quickbooks experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Invoicing and collecting payments from customers, as well as client statements and collections.

• Pay bills and cut checks to vendors.

• Credit card entries and reconciliation.

• Count and reconcile the petty cash and run deposits to the bank.

• Process timecards, payroll, 401K distribution and reconciliation.

• Bank reconciliations on a regular basis.

• Prepare cash flow statements.

• Prepare profit and loss statements with analysis for business projections and partnership consulting.

• Prepare Audits for Health Insurance, Workman’s Comp, and Department of Labor.

• Coordinate insurance policies and renewals.

• Process new hires and terminations, employee benefit changes and workers comp claims.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
