Morgan Automotive is looking to hire an Automotive Title Clerk to join our office staff at our dealership in Manheim, PA! As a leading dealership in the state, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality car buying and servicing experience. The ideal candidate for this position would be an individual who has previous accounting or title clerk experience. This role is responsible for handling sensitive information and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process vehicle title and tax documents
  • Accurately review titles for accuracy and ensure all information abides by dealership requirements
  • Verify proper processing of titles in states in which they are filed
  • Make copies and properly index and file paperwork for internal reference
  • Resolve any title issues with customers, dealers and/or regulatory agencies
  • Handle outstanding title reports and contact sellers to obtain any outstanding documentation
  • Sign over titles to customers and wholesalers who pave provided payment due
  • Remain knowledgeable of current DMV regulations related to vehicle titles and ensure all titling abides by state regulations
  • Provide any escalated issues or scenarios to F&I management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of automotive title clerk experience preferred, however, training may be provided to the right candidate if lacking experience
  • A notary license is required
  • Previous automotive dealership experience is a huge plus
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Able to multitask and handle multiple projects at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
