Our client, a prominent leader in commercial construction with a specialization in Design-Build General Contracting and Structural Concrete projects, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join their team. This role demands a professional capable of managing large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on structural concrete work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ground-up construction, be adept at using project management software, and possess the flexibility to work on various types of projects across California running in size and scope from $10Mil to $35Mil .
Job Location: Woodland Hills, CA
PMs will be working on-site at project locations primarily. Work locations include job sites across California, primarily within Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Project Managers may also work from the corporate office as required.
Salary Range: DOE 100K-150K w/ car allowance and gas.

What You'll Do:

• Lead both Design-Build General Contracting projects and Structural Concrete Subcontractor projects, ensuring all aspects of the projects are executed with precision.
• Engage in detailed planning and execution of projects, including high-rise towers, parking structures, office buildings, and more, while self-performing structural concrete work as a Union Contractor.
• Oversee cost control, weekly budget reviews for self-performed work, and report on project profitability, issues, and progress.
• Utilize computerized project management software to maintain thorough project documentation and communication. Prolog and Converge exp nice to have.
• Write scopes for subcontracts and purchase orders, serving as the primary liaison between the project site, owners, or General Contractors.
• Ensure adherence to detailed plans and specifications, maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial building industry, with a strong preference for experience in ground-up construction of multi-story projects. 10 years of total experience a must.
• Flexibility to manage projects as a Design-Build General Contractor or a Structural Concrete Subcontractor, with a willingness to learn and adapt to our client's unique project management methodologies. Must have strong understanding of scoping, buyout, and cost control.
• Proficiency in computerized project management software and a keen understanding of the added costs and details when self-performing work.
• Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills, with a hands-on approach to project management.
• Candidates must be based in California and have a maximum of 30 years in the industry, prioritizing those with direct, in-the-trenches project management experience over those with a background in senior management or director-level positions.
