Technical Writer IV

Job Summary:
IT Veterans is currently seeking a Technical Writer IV to join our team. You must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a CI poly.
Job Details:
- Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
- Write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation
- Create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources
- Provide overall leadership of the technical writing tasks, and serve as primary liaison to the government for supporting contract coordination and task execution; manage technical writing resources and tasks; ensure quality assurance of processes and products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional four (4) years of experience be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in addition to education level
- Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
