501262 Systems Engineer

IronMountain Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join us as a Systems Engineer. This dynamic position will be responsible for supporting, developing, implementing, and maintaining systems and processes in a DoD Contractor environment.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Requires a detail-focused individual with robust problem-solving skills, capable of working effectively in both team settings and independently.
• Responsible for aiding in the maintenance of DFARS compliance.
• Skilled in administering Microsoft Office 365.
• Experienced in managing AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN, MFA, and similar network services.
• Capable of managing a Remote Monitoring and Management Platform.
• Skilled in preparing documentation
• Proactively monitors, manages, and resolves hardware, software, and infrastructure issues within the enterprise network.
• Provides thorough written and verbal reports to management regarding system status, issues, and potential risks.
• Engages in peer mentorship.
• This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General Experience: 

• Candidates must have at least four (4) years of experience as a network engineer/administrator.
• Experience maintaining LAN and WAN architectures.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in the IT field is preferred.
• Candidate must be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours) per week with after-hours support rotation.
• Candidate must be available to work at our corporate office located in Huntsville, AL. A hybrid work schedule is available.
• Experience managing M365 SharePoint and using Microsoft Flow
