The Iron Horse Bar & Grill is currently seeking a talented and experienced Evening/Night Bartender to join our team. Located in Leawood, Kansas we are a popular and vibrant establishment known for our excellent food, great atmosphere, and wide selection of beverages.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to the established recipes and guidelines.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions to customers regarding beverage choices based on their preferences and our menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring responsible serving of alcohol and monitoring customer intoxication levels.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and giving appropriate change.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Stay updated on current drink trends, new products, and industry developments to enhance the customer experience.
• Handle any customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, escalating to management when necessary.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain consistency and uphold the high standards of The Iron Horse Bar & Grill.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced establishment.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients and preparation methods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid bartending license or certification (if required in the state of Missouri).
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
