Renovation Project Manager Job Description

Iron Gate Development is Hiring a Residential Renovation Project Manager!

We are looking for someone to be in charge of our flip renovation projects, rental property renovations and new home construction services. The majority of the work will entail renovating existing homes either for flip or rental purposes. There will be some work with new home construction. The Construction Manager will ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Knowledge of residential renovation/construction is mandatory. When not on-site at projects, you will be working from home. This role may require courthouse auction attendance as needed.

Compensation:

• Job Types: Part-Time, Contract (subject to change)
• Salary: commensurate with experience in the range of $20-$30 an hour.
• Estimated 30 hours per week.
• Bonus offered. Paid time off offered.

Requirements:

• 2 years of residential renovation project management experience
• Hours of availability: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 3 pm. This will consist of working from home and going to construction sites as necessary. Approximately 3 days per week going to construction sites.
• Lives within driving distance of these counties in Maryland: Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Howard County, Charles County, Anne Arundel County
• If an emergency arises, must show flexibility to support the business needs after business hours.

Characteristics:

• Candidate must have residential construction experience, preferably with managing contractors to renovate homes
• Candidate must be self-driven. We’ll train you but we won’t be baby-sitting you
• Effective communicator and detail oriented
• Adept with using technology such as different apps, iphones, various online systems
• Is capable of using different resources to solve problems on their own
• Has a car and is capable of driving to properties in the Washington DC area (Maryland suburbs)
• Is highly organized and is a logical thinker
• Works very well with other people and can build rapport quickly with both team members and vendors
• Has great attention to detail and brand quality
• Appreciates direct & blunt feedback
• Can juggle lots of moving pieces while staying organized
• Has experience with some/all of the following IT systems: MS Excel, Google Drive, and Monday.com
