Invictus Security and Investigations is seeking the position of a Building Security Officer.

Pay Rate: $19 - 22 hr. depending on experience

Duties:

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent any security breaches
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Conduct security checks of individuals, vehicles, and bags as necessary
• Enforce access control procedures and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises
• Provide assistance to staff and visitors when needed
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven work experience as an unarmed security officer preferred
• First aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security operations
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle conflicts or difficult situations calmly and professionally
