Schedule:

• Overnights, Days, and Evening shifts required.
• Part-time hours based on business needs.

Expected Starting Wage: Anticipated at $34/hourly weekdays - $36/hourly weekends.

What You Will be Doing:

The Security Officer will roam and patrol job sites to help deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities. Our company vehicles are equipped with cameras and monitoring technology; this ensures safe driving practices, regular location checks, compliance with company policies, and accurate reporting for clients.

The position includes the following duties:

• Provide safety for people and property using excellent customer service.
• Monitor cameras and control access at entrances, exits, and vehicle gates.
• Conducts hourly patrol stops and logs reports using smart phone technology. 
• Maintain environmental awareness to identify unauthorized visitors, property damage or disturbances.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in escalated and complex situations.
• Provide excellent customer service. 
• Contact and cooperate with authorities and first responders in emergency situations.
• Follow Code 4 SOP for the job site and be familiar with and follow all company policies and procedures. 
• Communicate professionally with the Security Operations Center, and the Operations Team. 
• Additional duties may be assigned and functions may be modified based on business needs.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in law enforcement or related field. 
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Proficient in using Smart phone applications and wireless technology.
• Able and willing to stand, walk, and run as needed.
• Proficient with firearms.
• Adhere to Use of Force statues and regulations.
• Ability to work alone at an overnight or daytime job site with limited supervision. 
• Attentiveness to security protocols and site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Be prepared to encounter weather elements (heat, rain, snow), for long periods.

Our screening process includes criminal background checks for applicants who are offered a position. Fingerprinting is required for all employees attaining a security guard license.
