Schedule:

  • Days, evenings, and overnight shifts available.
  • Full-time and Part-time hours based on business needs.

Expected Starting Wage: Anticipated at $19 - $20 Hourly, depending on experience.

What You Will be Doing:

The Security Officer will roam and patrol job sites to help deter theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities. Our company vehicles are equipped with cameras and monitoring technology; this ensures safe driving practices, regular location checks, compliance with company policies, and accurate reporting for clients.

The position includes the following duties:

  • Actively conducting frequent checks and patrols throughout shifts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, colleagues, and patrons.
  • Deescalate and/or escort off the premises unruly patrons or unauthorized personnel.
  • Monitor and control access at entrances/exits and vehicle gates.
  • Identify, document, and report any unusual activity, violations, accidents, physical property damage, theft, or disturbances on site.
  • Prepare reports in electronic format.
  • Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel as needed.
  • Effectively use proper radio protocols to communicate with leads, management, and other site officials and staff.
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to Use of Force statutes and regulations.
  • Follow all Code 4 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Additional duties may be assigned and functions may be modified based on business needs.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Security Experience preferred.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Military/First Responder experience is a plus.
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Must consistently demonstrate emotional control, and good judgment in all situations, both escalated and complex in nature.
  • Work in various environments including elements (heat, rain, snow).
  • Able and willing to stand, walk, and run as needed.
  • Occasionally bend/twist to perform various duties.
  • Job site locations vary. Limited public transportation is available. Personal transportation is required.

Our screening process includes criminal background checks for applicants who are offered a position. Fingerprinting is required for all employees attaining a security guard license.
