IntWork's client, a quasi-governmental organization in Maine, is seeking a Director of Finance & Operations who will provide leadership and expertise with the primary responsibility of planning, directing, and coordinating all financial and operational activities of the organization. As Director of Finance & Operations, you will be a key member of the leadership team, providing financial and operational guidance to the President, senior management team, Board of Directors, funding partners, and stakeholders. You will oversee and manage the organization's Finance & Operations team as well as IT & Data Systems.
This is a remote/hybrid position; applicants must live in Maine or actively in the process of relocating to Maine.

What we're looking for:

• CPA/MBA or equivalent plus substantial relevant experience.
• Experience in strategic operations planning: financial analysis, budgeting and reporting.
• Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics and reporting.
• Experience managing various complex funding sources (including federal) in non-profit and/or for-profit environments.
• Familiarity with private and public finance institutions and programs.
• Strong project development and management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, interacting with a cross-discipline leadership team, department heads, board, board committees and funding partners to achieve capital funding, deployment and risk management objectives. 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual pay in the range of $140,000 - $160,000

What you'll do in this role:

• Oversee the design, implementation and continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes and controls.
• Provide overall direction for asset management and resource allocation including cash management and capital allocation, expense management, and annual budget processes.
• Oversee audit and risk management.
• Operational responsibilities including oversight of IT and HR and other operational systems/departments.
• Work closely with leadership and program leaders to plan, identify and procure resources and develop and maintain relationships with key partners, vendors and funders.
