About the Position:
The Project Manager of One Fire Associates, LLC will work directly with One Fire Officers and Project Teams to organize activities for the development, implementation, and maintenance of One Fire Projects. While our projects are the number one priority since they are the life of our organization, the Project Manager may also work on tasks assigned at the organizational level along with the Chief Operating Officer and President & CEO. The Project Manager is at the center of the Projects and the soul that keeps the project teams moving forward. Organization and flexibility are critical in performing duties.

Are you passionate about contributing your skills as a Project Manager to working with indigenous populations at both community and system levels? Do you have experience driving and directing large projects? Do you demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach, taking input and guidance from others, including staff and external elder consultants?
How will you make an impact?
The scope of duties, with guidance from the Senior Research Director, include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintaining communication with internal and external project teams.
Attending project meetings to discuss opportunities, identify client needs and evaluate solutions.
Reviewing and directing project changes, as agreed upon with One Fire Officers and Senior Research Directors.
Identifying and problem solving when there is a need for resources to move the projects forward.
Track project budgets and identify the need to change the project or progression speed based on this information.
Developing tools and templates to support evaluation activities, such as data security plans, data tracking spreadsheets, surveys, and other products.
Tracking and reviewing technical reports and other products that summarize available data on the project, such as power-point, infographics, and others identified.
Developing or implementing policies, plans, strategies, standards and procedures for quality improvement internally and with external partners.
Implementing quality assurance plans and reporting on any findings.
Facilitating and documenting meetings and events, including web-based and on-site support.
Scheduling, assisting with, and conducting as needed training to a wide range of stakeholders (tribal leaders, administrators, professionals, community members, youth) on various topics related to research and behavioral health.
Implementing internal operational procedures according to the One Fire Associates policies and procedures, apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects.
Inspiring project team to attain goals set forth in each project.
Participating in staff meetings, training and development opportunities.
Utilizing team members to their fullest potential, encouraging collaboration, fostering positive communication, showing acknowledgement and appreciation.
Utilize organizational resources which include project management programs (monday.com), zoom video conferencing, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
Additional assignments as mutually agreed upon.
Education, Required Skills, and Qualifications:
The position requires 5 experience in working with indigenous populations at community and system levels, and 2 years of project management experience.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, but not required.
Proficient computer skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Slides, and Jamboard, as well as experience with Google Drive for desktop and Microsoft Office Programs.
Proficiency in using zoom for video calls.
Have a leadership mentality.
Demonstrate good Time Management skills.
Ability to delegate tasks and assign deadlines.
Ability to make quick and informed decisions.
Demonstrate professionalism and be a strong communicator, both verbally and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team approach, taking input and guidance from others, which include staff and external elder consultants.
Ability to effectively and consistently work remotely from your state/territory (at date of hire) within the United States.
Takes initiative to advance innovative projects and partnerships.
Reports Directly to the CEO and COO.
What we offer:
Compensation is to be negotiated during the time of hire and dependent upon the employment status. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
As a small business, there are many benefits we cannot yet offer, but we do reinvest revenue at the end of each year back into the employees in a transparent and equitable way. We have a retirement account for employees working 5 years or more for the organization. We offer the benefit of virtual work so you may both control and balance your own time. As long as our quality deliverables are met and we can accommodate meetings with our clients, we are free to set our own work hours, days and schedules.
Depending on the level of experience and qualifications, candidates may qualify for higher level positions that include responsibilities at the project level for research and evaluation activities within the expert area of training and practice.
