HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Oversees the daily operations and activities for the Box Office in the College of the Arts Rialto Center for the Performing Arts.
Manage and oversee Ticket Services: phone, window, fax, internet, subscription & group sales, and order processing; door sales; Rialto memberships, and donations.
Support front of house management and event team.
Manage and oversee concessions for live events.
Review and maintain policies and procedures.
Hire, train, supervise, schedule, motivate, evaluate and mentor Box Office staff.
Manage front line Customer Service, including internet inquiries, problem & complaint resolution.
Work with rental clients from their initial ticketing contact and contract through the box office settlement and evaluation.
Maintain accurate reporting and evaluation of ticket sales on computerized ticketing system.
Reconcile daily sales and prepare financial reports.
Assist with developing and managing Box Office revenue and expense budget.

Background Check

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years box office management experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of box office operations and management. Current knowledge of ticketing software system. Knowledge of business and financial management practices. Ticketing experience in a university or performing arts environment. Strong communication and organizational skills with acute attention to detail. Must we willing to work day, nights, and weekends as demanded by being in a performing arts environment.
