We are looking for a Software System Analyst to join our team to support the Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems. The candidate in this role will work with both contractors, government civilians and system operators.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Functioning within the project office’s software directorate.
• Engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure the software developed can meet the needs of the intended users.

At a minimum you should have:

• Must be a US Citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
• A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Physics, or engineering field is required.
• 10 or more years’ experience in developing scientific or tactical software systems.
• Familiarity with Unix or Linux operating systems and computer networks is required.
• Must have familiarity the following programing languages: C , Java. and Python, or Ada. Modular Open Systems Architectures.
• Highly organized with a strong technical background in computing hardware, software and/or networking.
• Self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced working environment
• Must be able to acquire or possess (as well as maintain) a US SECRET security clearance.
• Occasional travel may be required in support of this position.

Estimated Salary Range: $125,000-$148,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
