We are seeking a Senior Software Analyst supporting a US Army Project Office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems. This role requires someone who is highly organized with a strong technical background in computing hardware, software and/or networking. In this role, you will function within the project office’s software directorate and will work with both contractors, government civilians and system operators. To be successful, you must be a self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced working environment and be willing to engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure the software developed is capable of meeting the needs of the intended users. you should have excellent communication skills, experience working with both development staff and end users and strong work ethic. Required BS or BA degree 10 or more years’ experience in developing scientific or tactical software systems. Familiarity with Unix or Linux operating systems and computer networks is required. Must have familiarity the following programing languages: C , Java. and Python, or Ada and Modular Open Systems Architectures. Some travel Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Desired Experience with software systems engineering and software testing in an Agile methodology highly desired. SAFe© Agile experience a plus. Software system development experience in support of DoD programs is preferred, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program is highly desired.
