Intrepid Solutions and Services, LLC is Hiring a Senior Network Engineer Near Washington, DC
Overview
Intrepid Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide expert guidance and recommendations to senior-level Government and Vendor decision-makers, technicians and managers. The Senior Network Engineer will direct multiple contractors and subcontractors teams through to project completion. This position will be located at the DIAC in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
Typical day may include the following:
- Lead resolution of complex technical issues and/or perform research of high-end technical solutions.
- Perfom tasks of senior level technicians, specialists and/or managers due to the size or complexity of the tasks.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations to senior-level Government and Vendor decision-makers, technicians and managers.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This is a full-time position with standard operating hours, Monday-Friday.
TRAVEL: This position does not anticipate regular travel.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
- TS/SCI with CI poly ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any additional clearance upgrades outside of the CI Poly, to include reactivation, or sponsorship. ***
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma plus 16 years of relevant experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 14 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience OR
- Master's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience OR
- PhD plus 8 years of relevant experience.
CERTIFICATION(S):
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required and IT environment specified within the task order.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in network / systems analysis, design, installation, and maintenance.
- Windows and Linux operating systems experience.
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewall experience (installation, configuration, and maintenance).
- Skills to manage exceptionally complex, interdisciplinary, and interorganizational tasks.
- Hands-on coding experience in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, or other relevant languages.
