Job Title: Operations Manager

Reports To: Vice President

FLSA Status: Exempt

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Operations Manager at INTREN maintains customer relationships and customer satisfaction. This position directs operational execution of contracts, ensures the safety and quality of the accounts, drives INTREN’s core values and mission. The Operations Manager collaborates directly with the Vice President on the development of business strategies for all customers as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Customer Satisfaction and Relationships:

· Follows-up during and after each job/contract to obtain feedback on performance and establish areas for improvement.

· Learns/ Understands customer structure, key management, and unions.

· Maintains relationships with all appropriate levels.

· Business case development.

· Cost/benefit evaluations.

Operational Performance:

· Establish, manage, and track department operating budget, P&L.

· Reviews financial reports summarizing performance for all customer contracts.

· Execution of both the customer’s and INTREN’s key performance indicators meeting INTREN’s standards.

· Reviews Project Manager project plans and status reports.

· Ability to manage and execute project management functions.

· Ensures all subcontractors are managed to INTREN standards and requirements.

· Assists the field leadership to develop and implement improvement plans as required (OSHA, DI’s, SI’s, costs, equipment utilization rates, equipment damage, preventative maintenance, etc.).

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred.

· Three (3) years of management/supervisory experience or demonstrated proficiency and experience managing. large complex projects using project management techniques preferred.

· Demonstrated ability to build consensus, communicate effectively, engage others in the required processes and hold people accountable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
