Description

Monday to Thursday - Production hours 6am to 4pm. Some Fridays will be Preventive Maintenance days starting at 6am.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Directly responsible for all tools tagged on any machine at all times.
• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing tools (molds).
• Responsible for cleanliness and organization of incoming tools (molds).
• Notify manager when a tool is damaged and in need of repair.
• Ensure all tools are properly labeled on tool rack.
• Maintains proper cleaning of stations, both before installation of tools and after removing tool.
• Cleans all tools prior to placing them on the tooling rack per standard work specifications. Careful means of handling the tools necessary to eliminate tooling damage.
• Runs all first pieces on tools returning from tool shop to the standards of the first piece procedure.
• Ensure all tool related PM’s are completed on time.
• Follow all tool cleaning standards when necessary per standard work documents.
• Maintains all parts needed for proper installation of tools.
• Air quality filter changes per schedule on each of their respective machines and documents per procedure.
• Change over tools as necessary per the production planner schedule in most efficient means possible.
• Support maintenance and operations when troubleshooting problems.
• Reduce or eliminate machine downtime, support production requirements, and work with team to increase productivity.
• Maintain proper labeling of all chemical, liquids, and tooling storage.
• Ensure proper air quality filtration.
• Understand and own spill prevention standards.
• Cross trained on all tables.
• Comply with all federal and state safety standards.
• Comply with all housekeeping standards.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent required. 1 – 3 years maintenance or technical experience preferred.

Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft office skills.

Organization skills: excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed.

Cross-functional skills: ability to work well cross-functionally with the IDTs; provides excellent internal and external customer service.

Communication skills: excellent written and verbal skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.

Problem solving skills: good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions

The noise level in the work environment is noiset as most work is done on manufacturing floor. Some areas and process require the use of hearing protection.
