Scope of Responsibility
The position of Process Technician Level 3. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, shutting down and troubleshooting machines. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and enhance your technical skills

At the North Plant you will help manage machines that produce parts to support and complete products across the other manufacturing plants on campus. Location: North Plant (5145 36th Street. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512)
General Responsibilities
Routine Tasks – Executes the setup and processing of plastic injection molding equipment, ensuring the prompt and precise installation and removal of injection molds while adhering to quality and safety protocols. Also responsible for configuring and fine-tuning assembly equipment, auxiliary machinery, and robots.
Root Cause Analysis – Efficiently relay any equipment issues or breakdowns to the maintenance team in a timely and effective manner. Investigate molding defects like flash and short shots, recognizing opportunities for continuous improvement.
Timely and effectively communicate any tooling issues to both the Shift Supervisor and the team's Process Engineer.
Support - While working with all levels of the team you will be responsible for offering support where needed.
This could include cleaning hoppers, doing moisture checks and setting up dryers. You could be called upon to help with various mold changes, crane operation and color changes.
