Job Summary

To assure the molding machines run to quality and safety standards while meeting production goals. Perform all safety and housekeeping procedures as required. Report all productions, quality and scrap issues to appropriate Supervisor / Manager as soon as possible.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Quality Standard.
• Maintain and monitor ISO14001 environmental system.
• Responsible for keeping all machines producing quality product.
• Stop the flow of production to correct quality issues and document any findings and/or adjustments on designated form(s).
• Verify process parameters are being followed during machine operation.
• Complete job change set up sheets.
• Keep machine and surrounding areas clean of oil and material.
• Maintain the process log.
• Work with the Quality department to improve process control.
• Trouble-shoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks.
• Set up machines to process book standards.
• Assure housekeeping standards are met.
• Create and maintain an environment for a safe and healthy workforce.
• Assure scrap issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all incidents including first aid cases are reported.
• Attend required training.
• Attend pre-shift and other scheduled meetings.
• Provide training to other employees when necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
