- Troubleshoot process issues and lead efforts to reduce scrap
- Work within a cross-functional team including maintenance, tooling, and production management
- Participate and lead improvement project teams that are geared towards improving operational performance
- Participate in Corporate initiatives to support cost reductions, quality improvements, and standardization
- Coach and support training and development of the site supervisors
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics, Chemical Engineering (or similar) required
- 3 years injection molding experience required
- Successful candidate is highly hands on and utilizes a logical problem solving methodology
- Experience using DOE’s and other statistical tools for problem solving
- Knowledge and utilization of scientific and decoupled molding practices
- Strong written communication skills to communicate technical solutions to the team members
- Display the capability to manage multiple projects with little supervision
- Experience developing robot programs a plus
- Experience with gas assist and 2 shot molding a plus
- Experience with RJG Edart/CoPilot systems a plus
