Location: Denver, CO USA IRC Background: Founded in 1933, the IRC is a leading nonsectarian, voluntary organization providing relief, protection and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. One aspect of the IRC is to assist refugees with resettlement and integration in the United States. The IRC opened a Denver office in 2016 to provide reception and placement services to newly arrived refugees. The office is slated to resettle approximately 250 refugees per year and provide program services that assist refugees for up to five years following their arrival in the U.S. IRC in Denver’s service approach is client-centered, empowerment-focused, trauma-informed and multigenerational. Job Summary The primary role of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide clinical supervision to the Health and Wellness department staff and interns. This position will review client goals, conduct regular case consultation meetings for the mental health teams (Family Stabilization, MHPSS and clinical Survivors of Torture teams), and provide clinical input to the Sr. Health & Wellness Manager. This role is also responsible for program supervision and coordination of the Family Stabilization Program (FSP). The FSP is housed at IRC in Denver and supports ORR-eligible clients from the IRC, Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains and the African Community Center.The program addresses needs among specific categories of clients as defined under the REACH Program by the Colorado Refugee Services Program (CRSP). The FSP provides intensive services that address threats to safety and daily functioning for these clients, including those who are survivors of domestic violence, live with severe and persistent mental illness, present with child welfare or elder abuse concerns, deal with substance abuse, experience suicide ideation, and/or identify to a group facing discrimination. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including onboarding, supervising and consulting with clinically trained staff and interns, guiding and overseeing implementation and improvement of service planning, ensuring routine monitoring of services and quality, integrating evaluation practices and related tools including client feedback mechanisms, engaging in capacity building efforts as needed to support access to high quality services, facilitating supervision and growth opportunities for staff and interns, and promoting a positive working environment and strong professional development opportunities for the clinically trained members and interns of the Health and Wellness department. Certificates or Licenses: Work Experience: Demonstrated Skills and Competencies Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills. Bilingual ability preferred. Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time, regular position classified as exempt and ineligible for overtime under state and federal law. Compensation range is $66,500-$76,383/ annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive and highly competitive set of benefits.
