Position Title: Mental Health Technician

Location: Cascade, Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift | Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 12.5 Hour Shifts

Job Type: Full Time 

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.50 Hourly

When you join us as a Mental Health Technician, you will:

  • Interact with our clients on a daily basis, assist them with their daily needs, and support them in their recovery journey.
  • Participate in recreational activities that promote physical and emotional well-being, such as hiking, yoga, and gardening.
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for everyone by applying your verbal de-escalation and redirection skills.
  • Collaborate with other staff members, such as counselors, nurses, and therapists, to deliver high-quality services and coordinate care plans.

Qualifications:

You are a passionate and dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of adolescents. You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health science or equivalent work or volunteer experience.
  • Previous experience with treatment of substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Training in verbal de-escalation and/or mental health (strongly preferred).
  • A valid driver’s license with no restrictions - Must be willing to transport clients in a 15-passenger van.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience (ideal but not required).

Compensation and Benefits

  • $17.00 - $20.50 Hourly
