The Operations Coordinator position works with a crew responsible for moving feed ingredients and grain from trucks and rail cars into intermodal containers. Open to candidates who are interested in training to gain CDL A license for growth opportunities within Company.
Overall Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts self and interactions with others with a high degree of integrity
Keep work areas neat and clean
Understand and able to conduct air blaster procedures
Able to do one of the following (see specific job tasks for procedures):
Able to run one line in the yard
Perform material handler position
Perform hostler driver position
Maintaining and completing daily duty logs including completion of housekeeping duties
Clean office/shared tools equipment
Effective radio communication
Encourage teamwork and promote comraderie, including participation and collaboration on fun and cool team activities
Adherence to safety policies
Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility, attention to detail and cross functional collaboration
Able and willing to grow and learn
Able to identify opportunities for improvement and participate in quick change
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, crouching, climbing stairs, and use of hands regularly
Must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Successfully complete a preplacement physical exam and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to drive a spotter tractor
