Job Description: Accountable To: Customer Service Manager
Intercomp is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative. This position provides support in an efficient and accurate manner to staff, and to customers who contact Intercomp by phone, email, and website. Assist customers with questions on products, pricing, and lead times. Issue quotations, enter orders, and promptly respond to all inquiries to improve overall customer experience.
Major Areas of Responsibility/Accountability:

• Provide accurate answers to sales inquiries relating to price structures, item availability and basic product line related questions.
• Utilize CRM database to look up customer information and record interactions with customers.
• Collaborate with in-house sales staff to relay accurate information, transfer calls/inquiries when more advanced support is required.
• Provide follow-up communication with customers to ensure requests for support have been satisfactorily resolved.
• Enter sales orders.
• Administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years in an inside sales support role.
• Excellent communication, listening, and written skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Client driven and adaptable to different personality and customer types.
• Expert in Microsoft Office.
• Motivated to stay busy with and without immediate direction.
• Initiative-taking and adaptable to all aspects of position, including role variations.
