Seeking a full time Billing Clerk to join our client's team in Quincy IL.

Applicants must demonstrate good administration, organizational skills and be a team player. Must have basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions.

Hours : Monday through Friday from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

Essential Functions for Billing Clerk :

• The Billing Clerk will work closely with the Controller to ensure that invoices are being sent and receivables are being collected on a timely basis to ensure optimal cashflow
• You will also work with the Logistics Operations Coordinators to ensure that every load has the correct rates, the necessary paperwork input, and anything else required for billing
• As the Billing Clerk, you will also work closely with the clients to develop relationships in their accounting departments to assist with any issues that will arise
• Maintaining accounting ledgers and reconciling statements / transactions
• The Billing Clerk will validate backup documents related to billing such as Purchase Orders (PO's), Bills of Lading (BOL's), scale tickets, freight paperwork, etc.

Against the order and Manage rejected invoices from customers regarding emails

Minimum Required Qualifications for Billing Clerk :

• Associates degree is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic billing and accounting principles
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as office procedures, managing files and records
• Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Type 40 wpm minimum
• Attention to detail is required
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
