We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various protocols such as 5G/LTE/WCDMA/CDMA, IMS/VOLTE & all Call flows. In addition, the candidate should have experience in field testing, including logging, debugging, and test case creation. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of telecom standards and be able to relate test conditions to carrier requirements/3GPP standards.
The Software QA Engineer will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing test plans and test cases
- Performing field testing and debugging
- Working closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues
- Ensuring that all software meets carrier requirements and 3GPP standards
- Providing feedback to development teams on software quality and performance
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in software QA engineering. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
