The Opportunity: When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with developers, DevSecOps specialists, and digital engineers to evaluate software developed for advanced digital engineering and AI-enabled capabilities. You'll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You'll help to automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of custom-built software and capabilities. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. You'll also broaden your experience in advanced AI and Digital Engineering ecosystems and gain skills in new areas such as Automation, machine learning, and DevSecOps principles while sharing your testing experience with your team. You Have: * 8 years of experience as a QA software test engineer
* 4 years of experience with writing comprehensive test plans based on user stories
* 4 years of experience developing automated test scripts
* 4 years of experience working with CI/CD pipeline QA Tools such as Sonarqube or Fortify
* Experience working in an Agile team
* Ability to obtain security clearance
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Nice If You Have: * Experience working with DevSecOps specialists
* Experience using Ansible Automation Platform to automate testing and deployment of containers
* Knowledge of Site Reliability approaches and tools
* Knowledge of continuous security testing automation
* Ability to communicate effectively with development teams

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
