Compensation & Benefits Professional
Pay Rate/Range: $35.00/hr, paid weekly
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Orlando, FL - On-Site position

Responsibilities:

• Scrub through all time submitted to ensure proper payroll processing.
• Lead absence administration, including Paid Leaves and Paid Time Off.
• Identify any payroll issues and collaborate with respective departments to correct them before the payroll deadline.
• Conduct audits on timesheets within the system to rectify inaccurate hours, time types, etc.
• Collaborate with global Workday Time & Attendance and Absence teams to troubleshoot issues and test new functionality.
• Act as a liaison for employees in resolving payroll-related problems, serving as the first line of troubleshooting.
• Assist in addressing issues with time administrators (Field Administrative Services team).
• Review and process all payroll-related tickets promptly, ensuring accuracy, appropriate documentation, and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll operations and uphold employee confidence.
• Review exception reporting to identify and resolve incorrect payroll payments.
• Prepare, process, and track wage garnishments and child support orders.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Conduct audits of data changes and requests to ensure compliance with company policy and practices.
• Track vacation and sick time accruals according to state labor laws and company policy.
• Perform all duties with integrity, accuracy, timeliness, and a customer-service orientation.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Advanced MS Excel Skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of IRS guidelines for Pre and Post tax deductions.
• Understanding of IRS compliance and limitations.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
• High level of diplomacy, tact, and excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in analyzing information, financial reporting, conflict resolution, and knowledge of applicable state and federal laws.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and take initiative with minimum direction.
