Job Description:
As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using Next.js, Material UI, and Web3 technologies. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and blockchain experts to create intuitive and seamless user experiences for our decentralized applications. In addition to Next.js and Material UI, a strong understanding of Web3, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and optionally Solana and Near blockchain ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Frontend Development:

• Develop responsive and performant frontend applications using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Material UI, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to bring their concepts to life, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.
• Implement efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Demonstrate a core understanding of frontend development principles and the ability to develop using vanilla JavaScript when necessary, ensuring compatibility and performance across different browsers and environments.

2. Web3 Integration:

• Leverage expertise in Web3 technologies to integrate blockchain functionalities, such as wallet connectivity and decentralized application (dApp) interactions, into the frontend.
• Integrate with Web3 technologies to enable seamless interaction between our applications and the EVM-based, Solana and NEAR blockchains.

3. Performance Optimization:

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the frontend, optimizing page loading times and rendering efficiency.
• Implement and maintain state management solutions to enhance frontend performance.

4. Cross-Browser Compatibility:

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility by testing and adapting frontend code to work smoothly on various web browsers and devices.
• Implement responsive designs to provide a consistent user experience across different screen sizes.

5. Usability:

• Proactively conduct usability and regression testing during development.
• Gather user feedback to continuously improve frontend usability.

6. Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices to protect against common web application vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and data breaches.

7. Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with backend developers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

8. Continuous Learning:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and techniques, and apply them to enhance the quality of our web applications.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to foster growth within the team.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a frontend developer shipping and maintaining web apps in production.
• English is your native language.
• Solid experience in frontend development using Next.js and Material UI, with a strong focus on building responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Proficiency in Web3 technologies and frameworks, including interacting with smart contracts, wallets, and blockchain data on EVM-based blockchains like Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon. and NEAR blockchain.
• Familiarity with Solana blockchain ecosystem is a plus.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs and frontend/backend integration
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proactiveness, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai) and frontend testing methodologies.
• Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in both frontend development and Web3 integration.
