Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Assistant for a client of ours in Jacksonville, Florida. This person will be responsible for back office tasks such as rooming patients and obtaining vitals.

• Providing nursing assistant to physicians
• Obtaining vital signs
• Greeting and chaperoning patients during their visit
• Maintaining medical documentation
• Processing prescription requests and referrals
• Mandarin West Office Information :

o 3 providers : 2 Physicians and 1 PA

o 3 Mas 1 Float MA

o 3 Front office staff

Skills and Requirements

• Must be able to multitask
• High School diploma / GED
• 2 years patient care experience
• Experience in a physician's office
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below :

o Hep B, Covid, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine - Previous Epic experience *HIGHLY preferred

• CMA / RMA / MA Diploma
• Associate's degree or other continuing education null
