Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance forms
- Greet and prepare patients for their medical examination or procedure
- Take patient vital signs, record medical history, and update patient information in electronic health records
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness and stocking necessary supplies
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing patient concerns and answering questions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience providing medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and handling insurance forms
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required
