Canabizteam is Hiring a Territory Sales Representative Near Los Angeles, CA

Our client, a premium cannabis company renowned for its top-quality indoor flower and genetics, is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative to cover the Southern California territory from Los Angeles to San Diego.
Previous Cannabis Industry Sales Experience Is Required.
The Territory Sales Rep will have a track record of success in outside, business-to-business sales, and embody a true entrepreneurial spirit. They will be responsible for selling the company's brands and products to dispensaries, distributors, and other retail customers across the assigned SoCal territory.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with new dispensary customers to boost sales and distribution.
  • Identify potential clients in the target market through cold calling and in-person visits.
  • Manage bulk and retail dispensary cannabis sales.
  • Clearly articulate the value and benefits of the company's products.
  • Schedule and conduct sales calls, appointments, and site visits.
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential buyers, explaining products, overcoming objections, and negotiating prices and contract terms with clients.
  • Create customer-level forecasts to ensure timely production and delivery of products.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the client's products, processes, and operations, staying current with cannabis industry news.
  • Prospect for new business, consistently setting and exceeding weekly sales goals.
  • Report weekly and daily sales results to the Sales Manager.
  • Travel throughout the territory by car.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.
  • Established connections with owners or executives of licensed cannabis dispensaries preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis products highly preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in business-to-business sales.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills.
  • A car is required for travel to meetings with owners and vendors (mileage reimbursement provided).
Compensation:
  • $38-40K Base Salary plus a very competitive commission structure.
