JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our company’s facilities. This includes performing a variety of tasks related to production, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. They ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and policies. They work in close collaboration with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure a consistently high level of quality and productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility equipment.
- Monitor and adjust machinery and equipment to maintain quality standards.
- Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working order and minimize downtime.
- Install, adjust, and inspect new and existing equipment.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with all company policies and procedures as well as occupational health and safety laws.
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Coordinate and supervise contracted work.
- Communicate with production team and other relevant personnel to keep them informed of maintenance and repair work being carried out.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of facility maintenance and repair experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics.
- Knowledge and some experience in plumbing, welding, and building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and troubleshoot equipment.
- The ability to use relevant hand, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Adhere to the company attendance policy, including expectations of punctuality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
