Infor is Hiring a Software Engineer, Senior Near Alpharetta, GA

Infor is looking for a talented engineer to join our enterprise scale Data Persistence team. Infor relies on its Landmark Platform to develop and run large scale multi-tenant SaaS enterprise applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The Data Persistence layer provides management and interaction of data created by Landmark's domain specific language (DSL) named the Landmark Pattern Language (LPL). The team's tooling allows zero down time updates for multi-tenant systems. This engineering position will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining infrastructure and tools related to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL adoption. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing the deep senior level development to migrate tenants from Microsoft SQL to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL. The main skills required are Aurora Postgres, database development, AWS Data Migration Service, systems engineering, and Java development.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Deep technical ability to develop migration tooling for complex applications.
Expand test driven development layers and capabilities.
Triage and prioritize issues.
Debug complex issues involving multiple stakeholders and technologies.
Development Processes (Daily Team Collaboration, Planning, Backlog Refinement, Demos).
Delivering long-term solutions that result in higher developer productivity and quality.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience as a technical team lead working on large project with a large code base.
Experience with AWS Aurora and PostgreSQL.
Microsoft SQL Server experience.
Java experience.
Experience with test driven development.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in migrating databases.
Git, Jira, and Confluence experience.
Experience working in small teams but interacting with many external stakeholders/customers.
Experience doing rapid prototyping and iterative development.

Location: US Remote (Dallas, TX/St. Paul, MN/Alpharetta, GA)
